Rankin Shoots Naomi Campbell For The First Time EVER To Celebrate The World Cup Final

Rankin has shot Naomi Campbell for the first time EVER. The photographer and model have never worked with each other before despite both having long-running and high profile careers in the fashion industry. They teamed up on a gold-themed shoot to celebrate Germany's World Cup win last night.

The snaps show Naomi transformed into a human version of the football trophy. She wears a stretch Tom Ford gown and Christian Louboutin peep-toe ankle boots as well as a pair of 24-carat gold dipped Pro headphones by Beats By Dr. Dre. The headset is one of 24 gifted to the German team (for the 23 man squad and manager) last night.

'Working on the ‘Golden' project with Beats by Dr. Dre was so much fun,' she says. 'The shoot was loud and energetic. I even got to practice my football skills! This was the first time I’ve had the chance to work with the legendary Rankin, so it was a dream shoot. The ‘Golden' project is the perfect way to celebrate the German victory and I'm glad to be a part of this campaign.'

Naomi holds a golden football above her head in the photos, copying the pose of the woman engraved on the commemoratory cup. She's got glowy skin, uber shiny hair and is sporting golden eyeshadow.

The stills are accompanied by a video showing Naomi and Rankin talk about their favourite music - from Bob Marley to Kasabian.

Naomi's not the only star to get involved in the World Cup spirit. The likes of Rihanna, Adriana Lima and Giselle all shared football snaps on Twitter and Instagram last night.
