Beyonce And Jay Z Named Forbes Highest Earning Couple With Estimated £59 Million

It probably doesn't come as too much of a surprise that Hip Hop royalty Beyonce and Jay Z have been named Forbes highest earning celebrity couple. If it wasn't for the sheer amount of accolades the two have been steadily racking up over the past few years - if not in particular this year, with Jay's recent release having gone platinum before even being released thanks to a collaboration with Samsung, and Beyonce's literally light shattering Super Bowl Halftime performance, not to mention her Mrs Carter world tour - all those yacht holidays would certainly allude to the fact that they're... very comfortable, or as Hov would put it, "money aint a thang."

The modern day "Bonnie & Clyde", the couple have reportedly earned an estimated £59 million between June 2012 and June 2013. Wowza! Beyonce out earned hubby Jay after returning from maternity leave with a vengeance, exploding into a Mrs Carter world tour where she reportedly grossed an average of £1.3 million a night. Hov didn't do too shabbily either, taking home an estimated £900,000 a night for his world tour, as well as releasing double platinum selling album 'Magna Carta Holy Grail'. We'd be forgiven for thinking that that would be more than enough for the arguably hardest working couple in the world but, no. Jay Z is also part owner of the new Barclays Center in Brooklyn, and has also started his own sports agency under the title Roc Nation Sports, whereas Beyonce also has a fragrance collection and a clothing line called House of Deron. Phew! Just thinking about it is making us tired.

The Carters earned $15 million more than Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen, who was named the higest paid model in the world for the seventh year in a row. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie and Kanye West and Kim Kardashian also featured on the list.
