The Duchess of Cambridge, who is seven months pregnant, has joined guests ranging from dinner ladies to diplomats at the Queen’s Buckingham Palace garden party this afternoon.
Looking radiant in a yellow silk Emilia Wickstead coat and Jane Corbett hat, the Duchess is there to meet and greet the Queen's guests. The coat in question is available on MatchesFashion.comright now and could be yours for £1,285. We thought we'd seen that hat before and our suspicions were correct! The Duchess Middleton donned the same sculptural white hat by her favourite milliner Jane Corbett to the Order of the Garter, with a matching white coat dress by Alexander McQueen.
Around 8,000 guests have been invited, including Olympians, Paralympians and officials from London 2012, and they will drink more than 270,000 cups of tea and eat 20,000 sandwiches and slices of cake.
After the playing of the national anthem at 4pm, the assorted royals mix with partygoers, each taking a separate route to ensure that as many people as possible can meet a royal.
