The world can breathe a sigh of relief. The Duchess of Cambridge has just left the King Edward VII Hospital after a stay of three days. Kate, who you maaay have heard is pregnant, was suffering from hyperemis gravidarum, or severe morning sickness, and was taken to the central London private hospital on Monday.
The Duchess was wrapped up against the chill in a navy blue printed coat with a duck egg blue pashmina around her neck. She looked relaxed wearing snug tights, flat black boots and held a colour-popping bouquet of yellow flowers. See, she's already taking a cue from Princess Diana's maternity wardrobe with the 'Is that a bunch or a bump?' technique. Clever.
Kate's newly-cut hair was pulled away from her face, half of it in a slight bouffant at the crown and the rest worn in those trademark waves. We wonder if Pippa dropped off the demure ensemble when she spent an hour visiting with her big sis at the hospital on Wednesday.
Hubby Wills arrived this morning to take Kate home (that's Kensington Palace to you and I) and looked gorgeously co-ordinated with his wife thanks to a blue shirt and jumper teamed with brown loafers. Bring on the dad style!
UPDATE: Thanks to our pals at hrhduchesskate.blogspot.co.uk, we now know Kate's coat comes from Diane Von Furstenberg's Autumn Winter 2010 collection.
