Let’s be honest situated on the 39th floor of the Heron Tower in Liverpool Street Sushi Samba (not actually restaurant for Samba dancing Sushi as one might presume) is not for the faint hearted. In fact, we thought we might have a panic attack in the lift up there - it was made entirely of glass - but we’re pleased to report that the terror was worth it.
Amazing views across the whole of London and fabulous food awaited plus a special performance by Pixie Geldof’s band Violet. Pixie captivated everyone not only with her singing but with her super long legs which she showed off in a super short black dress and towering heels – it’s no wonder her boyf George Barnett couldn’t keep his hands off her. Jealous… us?
We spotted super tall and super cute Radio 1 DJ Greg James checking out London at night, whilst TV Chef Gizzi Erskine popped up to Sushi Samba’s sister restaurant Duck and Waffle to try out some of the canapés. Treats included dates wrapped in bacon with a mustard dip and mini scotch eggs. We’re pretty sure we’ve woken up about 3 stone heavier this morning after nabbing a few for ourselves.
