So we’ve established that Pippa Middleton does wedding chic rather well and recently turned to Matthew Williamson when she attended Caroline Sieber's nupitals in Vienna this summer.

And now it seems Pippa is developing a MW crush, as last night she was snapped sporting his designs in their natural habitat: the glitzy party.

Yes, P-Middy arrived at the opening of the Serpentine’s new Sackler wing, designed by award-winning architect Zaha Hadid, and brushed shoulders with the cream of the culture industry crop.

With everyone from artists Anthony Gormley, Gilbert & George to Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter, Pippa was in good company so it's little wonder she was dressed to impress.

Her blue sleeveless Matthew Williamson dress with gradient peach feathered skirt was the perfect, almost painterly, piece for the cocktail party.

We’re thinking of Turner’s sunsets or one of Gaughin’s fruit bowls, ie: delicious!
