It was revealed in March that Pharrell had teamed up with Uniqlo, and now we have a first look at his t shirt line. As expected Pharrell looks achingly cool in the images which just landed in our inbox - as he models his slogan tees in front of paintbox backgrounds. There are 14 colours and patterns of men's and women's t shirts, including the slogan include 'the same is lame' and 'think other.'
Pharrell said about the collection: 'When I first tried some of the things we produced on, I couldn’t stop myself from showing it off. I was like, ‘Wow, this is going to be revolutionary.’ It’s so soft – gentle to the touch - and I just could not believe the price it’s going for.”
Who better to model Pharrell's tees than the man himself? As expected he is starring in the TV ad campaign, which uses his single 'Come Get It Bae' from his new album G I R L. Are you sold? The full collection of t shirts will hit Uniqlo stores from the 24th April will be available at UNIQLO stores in the UK from 24 April.

The New Model T from Uniqlo
If you were worried you hadn’t seen enough of this music producer mogul’s lovely face – fear not! Today Pharrell was announced as the cheeky new face of Uniqlo’s t-shirt line, UT.
Now 12 years old, UT has been remodelled this year by the brand’s new Creative Director and street fashion icon NIGO. 'The New Model T' torso is totally seamless and made of a thicker material than we’re used to. This means it fits better and ‘becomes more expressive each time you wear it’. Alongside 35 new themes and over 1,200 colours and patterns plotted for the Spring - Summer 2014 collection, NIGO has instigated a collaboration with our favourite hat-wearing singer (who is also rather good at t-shirts).
Mastermind Pharrell Williams’ creative collective ‘i am OTHER’ (the umbrella company that houses all of the artist’s ventures from Billionaire Boys club apparel to Brooklyn Machine Works bike builders, from his collaborative artists to a YouTube channel) has collaborated with the UT line to create a range of t-shirts for men and women and caps. From this first look at the shirts, we can see he is championing his favourite mantra: 'otherness'. Of his own aptly named company, he explains, 'we are proud to be different and believe that individuality is the new wealth', so these new tees are set to be both accessible and inspirational.
The new range's TV commercial due to be released in April promises to be Pharrell-fabulous too, featuring a song from his spanking new album, Girl.
Whilst the full range will launch instore and online in April, the limited edition “Think other” shirt tpictured above will be available online from March 6 at 9am for the first 240 customers. So get-set for Thursday morning!
