In this week's issue we bring you the news that mother and daughter Pearl and Daisy have teamed up to star in Fashion Targets Breast Cancer campaign, and now we can share with you a video of the duo showing their support for the campaign.
Every year this fashion initiative sees retailers join forces with celebrities, urging the public to 'Wear Your Support' and buy something from the Fashion Targets Breast Cancer collection. It was started by Ralph Lauren back in 1994, and this year our favourite retailers, including M&S, River Island, Topshop and my-wardrobe.com have designed special products for the cause.
The pieces each have a minimum 30% donation and range from £2 to £275. The campaign shots feature famous mother and daughter duos, including breast cancer survivor Sharon Osbourne and Kelly Osbourne as well as Peal and Daisy Lowe. Kelly said of the campaign 'Fashion Targets Breast Cancer is all about British retailers uniting to raise vital money for a cause that affects almost 50,000 UK women a year. I’m so happy to be in the campaign with the most important woman in my life – my mum. I’m urging everyone to Wear Your Support.'
While Pearl Lowe says, 'Fashion Targets Breast Cancer is a legendary campaign and this year’s theme of uniting mothers and daughters really brought it home for me. We must raise money for breast cancer research now to make a difference for our daughters in the future.'
