The Grazia fashion team has descended on Paris fashion week to see the last of the Autumn Winter 2013 collections. We've got an action packed schedule, and there's so much to see off the catwalk too! Here's our picture diary of what we got up to yesterday...
1pm- straight off the Eurostar and after a quick luggage drop off at hotel Legend (where we're staying) we grabbed some lunch nearby in Saint Germain, delicious chicken and rocket salad was the order du jour, naturally with plenty of pomme frites!
2pm- We hot foot it to the Longchamp showroom where we find gorgeous pony skin patchwork bags, cool biker boots and this rather fabulous pink fluffy bag from Longchamp's special Christmas line! We ❤.
3pm- We stopped by our new discovery New York based, lux t-shirt and sweatshirt label Betina, the Philippo designer who trained at Parsons in NYC, impressed us with her gorgeous embellishment and embroidery.
We also saw mother label Celestina, who's beautiful clutches in exotic skins are perfect red carpet fodder!
4pm- Karl-o-clock! On the Boulevard Saint Germain Karl Lagerfeld opened his first ever European store for his label KARL. The über chic black and white shop plays homage to the designer's love for monochrome. Amongst new season ready-to-wear there are Karl dolls, key-rings, and a super kitsch handbag to be snapped up, genius!
5pm- We hit Hotel Plaza Athenee to see Italian shoe designer Cesare Paciotti's new collection. Highlights include these super sexy patent boots, rebel stud detailing and two pairs of incredible party shoes, which are covered in actual lights!
6pm- We've been lusting after their fabulous buckle boots in store at Matches right now, so we were super excited to go and see Tokyo based label Toga's autumn/winter '13 presentation, and they didn't disappoint! Beautiful tailoring, flocked prints and standing out detailing means we'll be fighting over a lot more than their boots come autumn!
How do we rate today? Tres...
