The relatively new label Paper London has been a Grazia fashion team favourite ever since it launched in 2011, but now it’s making waves both in the UK and across the pond via a new selection of high profile super-fans. From Pippa Middleton – who has worn the brand’s colour-blocked shift dress on repeat – to our top new red carpeteer Lily Collins, you can probably see from the gallery above that Paper London’s cute and wearable creations appeal to all ages, styles and occasions. AND the prices sit nicely in that mid-market contemporary cool, where you can save up for something special. That all sounds like tele-shopping spin, but it's true.
Paper London's autumn/winter 2013 collection is available now
Originally we thought that PL’s sharp tailoring and expertly demure pieces could be just the ticket for the work place, but with the introduction of high-shine after-dark dresses and some seriously cool knitwear, it’s safe to say they’ve covered all corners of a girl’s wardrobe. The current favourites both both A-listers, bloggers and customers alike are the voluminous skirts, hi vis colours and crop tops, but soon enough you’ll fall for the new line of cosy coats and graphic intarsia jumpers. We're rather keen on the patent finishes for autumn/winter, too. 'Our full skirts have been very popular especially when we did our recent trunk show in LA. This season the Tijana dress has been our best seller. It is a simple but statement piece with a striking silhouette,' the founders Kelly Townsend and Phillipa Thackery explained exclusively to GraziaDaily today. 'The Scandal actress Darby Stanchfield just wore it to a summer party last night!'
'It is very exciting to see such amazing women wearing our collection,' say the design duo, 'Chloe Sevigny would be amazing, we feel her style and personality really suit the brand. We also love Diane Kruger, she has already selected some pieces from the A/W'13collection. We are very much looking forward to see her wearing Paper London to an event.' Well, watch this space, peeps!
