After enduring deep snow drifts in New York, a balmy London and driving sleet in Milan, the fash-pack's wardrobes have taken quite the battering this fashion month. We have also learnt that its worth listening to weather forecasts rather than hoping for the best and packing sleeveless coats, denim jackets and flash baring shoes. So taking the Brrr factor into account how then to pack for the most stylish city in the world without looking too après ski? The key to the conundrum is layering...

First up is my Eurostar look. While it may seem simple, this Broracashmere turtleneck and thick pleat front Joseph trouser combo is both chic and toasty. When layered with a Kooples wool blazer and a thicker coat it is so warm that I can get away with a slight ankle reveal in these flat, pointy kitten heels. Yes, you heard it right, kitten heels. These babies are not new, instead they are a Kurt Geiger style from my fashion vault circa 2004. But very this season, non?

Next up is the H&M party tonight. This will be indoors so will not require quite the same level of layering. I’m going for an ultra skintight, Hitchcock-esque dress from Zara with thigh high suede boots from Karen Millen. A heavy necklace from Mawi completes the look.

Friday is a packed schedule and will require a great day to night option. Starting with a base layer of a Sandro silk blouse and a L’Agence column skirt, I will add a leather biker from Maje and a red gilet also from Sandro. With gold necklaces the skirt and blouse combo looks sexy for evening, while the layered outerwear works for day. Those block wedges were a Zara steal, in case you were wondering.

For the next full day of shows Ill be working a Paige denim shirt with my fabulous Christopher Kane pink knit from Matches. Paired with these printed IRO jeans and Kurt Geiger pastel pumps, it injects some colour into my wardrobe. An oversized coat from Maje finishes the look. 

For evening I will be changing into a Sandro snake print pencil skirt, a Warehouse lurex knit (with a cashmere tee layered underneath) and a Whistles coat. To jazz up the look, these Louboutin T-bars are ideal. And yes tights will feature – Ive chosen a silk 60 denier pair by Falke.

Saturday is my final PFW day (end of season ahoy!) so Im looking to wear something which will work well for travel. These grey jeans by FRAME are perfect as they keep their shape immaculately, ensuring I will look party-ready when I pull in to St Pancras – it is Saturday night after all. A super cool printed shirt from Whistles works under this black chevron patterned jacket by Elin Kling for Guess. Manolo Blhanik BB’s in black suede complete the look. Et voila, not quite up to Anna Dello Russo’s costume changing standards, but a simple and chic way to sartorially weather the weather this Paris Fashion Week.
