One is the daughter of a music legend and the other is the daughter of one of Hollywood's greatest directors so it's little wonder that they're paths have crossed. Not only have they crossed however, but Nicole Richie has invited Sasha Spielberg, daughter of Jurassic Park and E.T. director Steven to star in the video campaign for her new Winter Kate collection. While she may easily have remained in her father's blockbuster shadow, 22-year-old Sasha is forging a career for herself as as a musician in the band Wardell. Based in LA, the group has caught the attention of some of Tinseltown's finest, including Nicole who snapped up the singer to represent her new collection.

In the wistful video, titled Memory Lane and directed by Hugh Lippe, boho beauty Sasha is seen walking through the countryside and standing in a barn wearing pieces from the collection including fedoras and denim cut-off shorts. As the sun beats down the up-and-coming talent, who also created the music for the film, spins around in a cream leather jacket and round brimmed shades while a dog barks alongside her - it's ever so idyllic!
Richie said of her decision to cast the daughter of legendary director Steven: 'Sasha truly embodies the Winter Kate and House of Harlow 1960 girl. Someone who is confident and fun, yet still a bit reserved and elegant.'
We reckon Nicole could be describing herself there too!
