EXCLUSIVE: We Join Nicole Kidman In Vienna At The Launch Of OMEGA's Ladymatic Watch

25 March 2013

While we were shivering in the freezing temperatures of London this weekend, Charlie Miller, Grazia's tres chic Executive Fashion and Beauty Director, was schmoozing with none other than Nicole Kidman in Vienna. Jealous much? Well, yes actually. But luckily for us, Charlie brought back a hoard of images so we can imagine we were there too.

Nicole was in Austria's capital for the launch of OMEGA's new Ladymatic watch styles - the actress has been the swish brand’s face of Ladymatic since 2010. Along with a small group of press, our Charlie was treated to a first glimpse at the global advertising campaign for the collection and even grabbed a chat with the A-lister who looked superly elegant in an ivory wool jacket worn with a simpler pencil skirt from Nina Ricci's Pre-Fall 2013.

'I started working when I was 14 and punctuality is something that’s really important to me in terms of when I’m on set,' Nicole revealed. 'I like to have my own watch on – I don’t want to be asking other people what time it is. Working in the film industry as a child, you learn to be on time. I was taught a very strong work ethic that included punctuality, which I’ve always felt is a sign of respect for others.'

So when Nicole does get the chance to waste time, what does she do? 'I’m still a huge believer in daydreaming,' the actress told us. 'I love lying around with no book or anything – just having my mind. I used to do it as a kid and I still do it. When I do, it’s when I come up with ideas. It’s creative time and it’s something I try to create for my children. We tend to schedule so much for our children and I try not to do that.'

The full interview will be in the next issue of Grazia magazine so don't forget to pick it up on Tuesday. But until then, take a look at what Nicole - and Charlie - got up to via the gallery above...
