We do love a new style crush here at Grazia Towers and over the past few weeks we have been falling for Transformers star Nicola Peltz. A flawless promo tour wardrobe can make an upcoming actress (one word: Lupita). The 19-year-old New Yorker has been having a good run so far, turning heads on the red carpet in Prada, Balenciaga, Giambattista Valli, Balmain, Louis Vuitton and Stella McCartney.
Her secret? A well-fitting column dress. Plus Nicola is working with Hollywood's secret weapon Leslie Fremar - Reese Witherspon and Charlize Theron's stylist who is number five on the Hollywood Reporter’s Top 25 Power Stylists list. Leslie is said to be the real-life inspiration for Emily Blunt's character, senior assistant Emily Charlton, in the Devil Wears Prada.

Leslie said in an interview with Grazia about her relationship with her clients: ‘You’re in someone’s house, you’re trying on clothes, which is something you’d associate with your girlfriend or your sister – people in your life that you probably had those experiences with growing up in the past. You’re dealing with people’s insecurities and body-image issues. They’re just girls like anyone else. It’s definitely a sensitive, intimate job.’
In an interview with Violet Grey Nicola admitted that the thought of a red carpet gown got her through filming: 'I would literally be in some overturned car with sweaty Shia LeBouf and Michael [Bay] screaming and I would say to myself, "Just think of the red carpet, think of the red carpet. Think of the dresses. Think of how glamorous the premiere is going to be." And that would get me through it.'
We haven't been this excited about a red carpet fresher since, well, Ms Nyong'o. Nicola has certainly come a long long way since she starred in Miley Cyrus' video '7 Things'. We know. We break down her recent style hits below...
1. Her first Prada moment
For the world premiere in Hong Kong Nicola wore a light blue silk Prada column dress with a cut-out at the bodice and elaborate sequin embellishments lining the collar and waistline. Perfection!
2. The Balenciaga sequins
Then came the sequins. Over in Paris, Nicola had a Balenciaga moment wearing a strapless blue sequin column gown with draped detailing at the back.
3. The Giambattista Valli show-stopper
This was the dress that made us swoon. Nicola Peltz had officially arrived. At the Shanghai premiere Nic wore a divine white strapless Giambattista Valli Spring 2014 Couture gown covered in breathtaking floral embroidery. This gown is all about the silhouette thanks to the tulle mini skirt worn over a sheer flowing lace underskirt.
4. The slinky LBD & LWD
It's not just about the floor sweepers. Nicola wore a Stella McCartney white slip with a sheer scalloped hemline to a photocall in Hong Kong, paired with a matching white pump. She kept it slinky in a plunging LBD with a bodycon skirt avec slit.
5. The white Stella McCartney column gown
We told you this is a girl with a thing for a column frock. For the Berlin premiere Nicola opted for a simple but knock out long-sleeved white Stella McCartney gown with an open back.
6. She's found her signature style and is sticking to it
Nicola can rock a crop top like no other. She has worn a navy Alexander Wang ab-flashing ensemble and then a black studded Balmain number avec leather pencil skirt. However it's the Balenciaga white and mint shorts and crop top combo she wore in Rio de Janeiro which made us really swoon.
7. Let's talk about that time she wore Dior, shall we?
On the last stop of the Transformers promo tour (feels like it's gone on forever, right?) Nicola wrapped things up in Dior. She opted for a white long-sleeved frock with a laced up back and side slit. Leslie Fremar we award you a Grazia Daily gold star.
