High street hero Next has just unveiled its stunning new autumn/winter 2013 campaign, featuring none other than supermodel royalty Kendra Spears. Princess Salwa Aga Khan, as she’s also known, recently married her whirlwind romance Prince Rahim – eldest son of billionaire racehorse owner his highness Aga Khan IV.  Rising rapidly through the modelling ranks the stunning 24 year old is an absolute world away from the MySpace competition from which she was discovered.

Following in the footsteps of the likes of Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista and Alessandro Ambrosio, Kendra Spears is the latest in a long line of supermodels to grace a Next campaign. Working the New York skyline, the American beauty told us her favourite memory of the photo shoot was ‘the most amazing rooftop where we had a fantastic view… the sun was shining and it was a great atmosphere’ And we’re not surprised, as the team behind the campaign is of as an equally impressive pedigree. Victor Demarchelier, son of legendary photographer Patrick Demarchelier, was behind the camera whilst French hair stylist Didier Malige dictated the style of those to-die-for locks.

So what do our overseas counter parts think of the British high street? ‘I love the variety, you can always find the latest trend for ant occasion’ Kendra Spears tell us. ‘I always get my basics online because I know the brands so well and my size. Otherwise I'm always on the look out for special pieces whilst on my travels!’

From beautiful burgundy lace dresses to silk jumpsuits, there are certainly plenty of Next pieces to be adding to Grazia’s ever-growing style wishlist, but what’s Princess Salwa got her eye on? ‘I love lots of layers in the winter and am always looking for a great piece of knitwear’. Well if it’s good enough for a princess it’s good enough for us! Put the date in the diary ladies, the all-new Next collection will be hitting store on 31st of October.
