Neville Marc Jacobs Dog Birthday

You'll remember we first introduced you to Neville Jacobs earlier this summer. Choupette Lagerfeld may be queen of Paris, but Neville is the pampered pet of New York City since becoming Marc Jacobs' canine pal - so it comes as no surprise to hear his birthday party was nothing short of faaabulous.

As women's wear stylist at Marc Jacobs and Louis Vuitton, Katie Grand of course bagged a VIP invite to the shindig, which was thrown in celebration of the pup's first birthday in New York last night. Katie has whizzed this adorable video across the pond for yours truly, which shows Neville having a whale of a time with Marc himself. Check it out for today's doggy fix:

Someone's getting overly excited by all those presents! So what did the puppy party involve? Well, there was a cake inspired by Neville's head which was, we've been reliably informed, fondant based. Yum. And although there was no booze, the celebrations did include very fetching paw-printed party hats, the bone-shaped biscuits of the season and a hoard of squeaky toys for Neville to play with.

As for Marc, the designer - who is prepping for his New York Fashion Week show - pulled on his party gear consisting of a smart black T-shirt and skinny jeans (and let's not forget the white socks). How dapper! Meanwhile, the birthday boy went utterly starkers. But what of the the other guests? Well, we're playing spot the fashionista since the video is shot doggy height. Was Neville's mate Cara Delevingne there, we wonder?

Asking for Neville's reaction to his Big Day, he replied simply, "Woof". We couldn't have put it better ourselves. See more of the fashion world's Woof-istas (see what we've done there?) in the gallery below...
