EXCLUSIVE: Episode 5 Of The Face Sees Naomi Campbell As 'A Proper Drill Sergeant'

28 October 2013 by

It's Monday and that can only mean one thing: the latest episode of 'The Face' hits our telly boxes tonight. We've got a sneak peek at the episode which sees Erin O'Connor putting the models through their paces in an acting masterclass [above]. But most excitingly, Naomi Campbell has just dropped off her latest blog to give us a teaser of what's to come...

Dear Grazia Daily Readers,

As you saw last week, Chloe-Jasmine was the latest casualty of the competition.  She was a great contestant, but this business is tough and that's the way it goes.  I now only have two girls left which means Team Naomi will have to step things up.   Team Naomi are survivors, so you'll see a new level of intensity to our work in order to stay in the competition.  We don't just want to win, we NEED to win.

This week's challenge is a filmed campaign for Maserati and the girls are required to move and act, which is a whole new way of modelling to what we've done so far.

To prepare for this challenge, Erin gives a masterclass in expression.  Some girls are much more comfortable with this exercise than others.   As a model you have to be able to show a range of emotion, so the girls who can't do this convincingly won't be able to cut it in the business.

We then  get on set to rehearse ahead of the shoot.  Each mentor has a different way of getting the most out of their teams.   Since my team cannot afford to loose, I don't go gentle on them.  You will see me become a proper drill sergeant  - it's do or die, and I can't be gentle on them.

Does my tough-love method of mentoring work?  Will Team Naomi or Team Erin score their first win, or will Caroline continue to dominate? You'll have to tune in to Sky Living tonight at 9.00pm to find out.

Love and light,

@NaomiCampbell #TeamNaomi
