EXCLUSIVE: Naomi Campbell On Putting The Contestants Through Their Paces On The First Episode Of The Face!

30 September 2013

'The Face' finally arrives on our telly screens TONIGHT and we are more than a little excited, not least because none other than Naomi Campbell has just dropped off this exclusive clip from the first episode. It sees the catwalk legend sitting alongside fellow supermodels Caroline Winberg and Erin O’Connor as mentors to three teams of aspiring models. Not only that, but Naomi has exclusively become Grazia Daily's superstar blogger, writing weekly posts for yours truly about what we can expect from the Sky Living series. So, Naomi, over to you...

Dear Grazia Daily Readers,

 The competition begins!  I hope you're looking forward to seeing the first episode of The Face, which airs tonight on Sky Living HD at 9pm.

 In episode 1, Erin, Caroline and myself put 24 contestants through their paces to find the final 12 girls who are the strongest contenders.

 Although some amazing contestants cross our catwalk, we have to be quite ruthless when it comes to who we keep in the competition. Each of us are looking for specific qualities to be a part of our team and through a series of fashion industry challenges and master classes all three of us watch carefully to determine which girls show the most potential.

 And that’s when it gets fierce! As the Erin, Caroline and I pitch to the girls we want, against each other, to make sure we get the best. Of course, I get the strongest team.J (Sorry Erin and Caroline!)

 Tonight you will be introduced to some incredible personalities as the girls navigate tough tasks and meeting each other for the first time. You’ll also see how competitive we mentors can be…

 Game on!

 Love and light,

@NaomiCampbell #TeamNaomi
