What do Elizabeth Olsen, Azealia Banks and Juno Temple all have in common? They've all been ASOS cover stars - and now Morgan Saylor, Kiernan Shipka and Sarah Hyland have been added to the glitzy list.
Yes, the three young American actresses are gracing the brand's May issue, which has just landed on the Grazia Daily desk and we must say, it's a cunning move. As our ASOS pals note, never has the power of youth been more prevalent on our TV screens so who better to dish on what it's like to be a chadult in the spotlight? Also: this provides the perfect opportunity to showcase an array of pretty prom dresses.
Shot in LA by photographer Victor Vauthier, we see the super-talented trio each have very different styles. While Morgan is trussed up in the ASOS crochet lace shift dress on the cover, Kiernan is nothing but adorable in the ASOS high neck prom dress and Sarah is sheer sweetness in the Alice McCall western insert dress.
Morgan Saylor from Homeland
Morgan Saylor is the indie princess and, much to our delight, she dishes on her role as one of the best telly characters ever: Dana Brody in Homeland. 'I’ve been to three big award shows, The Golden Globes, the Emmy’s, and then the Golden Globes again and the fact that we’ve won all three is surreal,' the 18-year-old says. 'Every time they say Homeland, my heart still skips a beat'.
Sarah Hyland from Modern Family
You may not have heard of Sarah Hyland, but it's time to get to know. The 22-year-old stars alongside Sophia Vergara on the ABC sitcom Modern Family and has already sealed her style status with a front row seat at the Marchesa Spring Summer 2013 show. 'I had Tyra Banks sitting next to me and Kim and Kanye were two people from me. I was like, what is happening to me,' she trills. And she looks utterly fab in homecoming queen style wearing a floral embellished frock teamed with monochrome '70s sunglasses.
Kiernan Shipka from Mad Men
The youngest of the lot is Kiernan Shipka who playes troubled Sally Draper in Mad Men. She may only be 13, but the teen angel is already developing her own style. 'I feel like you have to learn about fashion from a lot of people to get your own sense of style. My influences are a mix of modern and old Hollywood icons, and people I know. And blogs.' God, we feel old.
