The FROW-ers at London Fashion Week have been wearing the hottest Spring 2013 RTW from Louis Vuitton checks to Prada daisies and braving stilettos on the Somerset cobbles. Casual is certainly not a word you would use to describe front row fashion, as London Fashion Week is the one place you can wear anything you want. There is no such thing as OTT at fashion week.
But what about the models? They spent the last five days dashing between shows, walking in outlandish fashions and 5 inch and up heels. So the last thing they want to wear on their commute between shows is a pencil skirt and Monolos. The biggest model off duty trend in London was striped jeans and tights, as we spotted Ms Cara Delevingne wearing jazzy purple and white striped jeans and other models wearing thin monochrome jeans and stripey tights.
Ripped denim, distressed cut-off shorts and beanies were model staples as usual. But we also saw lots of neon jumpers, bright coloured coats and leather skinny trousers. Our favourite looks from London have to be the girl in head to tooe black with thigh high black leg warmers and the model in a cobalt blue coat with leather skinnies.
Accessories wise it's all about a massive handbag which they can cart all their belongings between the shows in, a pair of big headphones and, of course, a portfolio casually tucked under their arm.
