As the epitome of international nobility and aristocracy, Fabergé is a jeweller that packs a rather royal punch. Think some of the world's most refined clientele, including the Russian Imperial Court and the Royal Family, as well as actresses the world over. Pretty difficult to represent then for you and me. Which is possibly one of the reasons why the Russian jewellery house has enlisted the help of the Polly Pocket-sized Russian editor Miroslava Duma, who has just been named as ambassador for the brand's creative collaboration with Harrods, taking place this Easter. She's not been called one quarter of the glamorous 'Russian mafia' for nothing!
Ever a fan of a statement necklace, Mira seems the perfect choice to us to represent “Faberge? Easter” at Harrods. The extravaganza also sounds worth a visit due to all of the exciting things happening there over the course of April. From the beginning of the month a gorgeous Faberge? salon and exhibition space will be set up in the Brompton Road store, along with window displays, one-off collectible pieces designed by the Parisian artist Fre?de?ric Zaavy and an original Faberge? Egg, crafted in gold, diamonds and nephrite.
If that's not enough to whet your stylish appetite be sure to pay a visit to the special limited edition 'Egg Bar', which offers customers the opportunity to get the iconic Faberge? egg pendants personalised and engraved with a special message. And tune in to the live Twitter Q&A hosted by Harrods with Mira herself on April 1 to ask the style icon anything you want (tweeting @Harrods with the #FabergeatHarrods). It's not all about the Mini Eggs this Easter. We're dreaming up what we want on a golden egg necklace already...
