Top 10 Fashion Makeovers Of 2012 From Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift To Katie Holmes

As 2012 comes to a close and 2013 starts (gulp), we take a look at ten of the most eye-opening makeovers from the past twelve months. From Kelly Osbourne's amaze fashion tranformation to Katie Holmes post-divorce makeover via Miley Cyrus' punk-ish peroxide overhaul, the past year has seen some epic celeb makeovers ranging from the unbelievably good, to the unbelievably not-so-brill. Here is a snapshot of our top ten favourites...

Kelly O has been looking increasingly amaze over the past few years, but how totally INCRED did she look as we came to the end of 2012? Kelly recently credited a vegan diet, prepared for her by her chef boyfriend, Matthew Mosshart, with giving the final polish to her awesome new look.

With one sweep of pen across divorce papers, Katie Holmes transformed herself into heel-wearing mega fox for her life post Tom Criuse. And hurrah for that! All she needs now is a hit movie/play/TV series to really get her back on track.... Though we did love 'The Kennedys'.

Miley Cyrus dropped her Disney Princess look in 2012 in favour of a kind of Agyness Deyn peroxide crop. Now; the success of said crop is questionable (Kerry Katona, anyone?) but we love her devil-may-care attitude towards trying a new look. After all, if you can’t chop your hair off at the age of 20 then when can you?

K-Stew started the year as a converse-wearing teen starlet who always looked as if she would rather be wearing her jeans and sneakers on the red carpet. Wowzers. For her role as Fantine in 'Les Miserables', Anne underwent one of the year’s most eye-opening transformations – shaving her head and losing 25lbs for her role as the emaciated prostitute. Annie is now both growing her hair and putting the weight she lost back on – we think she looks completely amazing at the moment, and we LOVE that her cute gamine crop seems to be encouraging her to try out more daring styles – like the Tom Ford bondage sandals she wore to the 'Les Mis' premiere. We especially loved the way she wore it at the Neiman Marcus & Target holiday event in November – slicked back, and paired with matte red lips. FIERCE.
