Meet Sam Rollinson - The Apple Crumble-Loving New Face Of Kurt Geiger

Sam Rollinson and Louis Simonon for Kurt Geiger

She’s snagged the Kurt Geiger AW'13 campaign with Louis Simonon

To celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the brand this year, Kurt Geiger's Autumn Winter 2013 collection is more than a bit 'Swinging Sixties' in line with the brand’s sixties heritage, since the Kurt Geiger story first began on Bond Street in 1963. The campaign was shot in London, starring British supermodel in the making, Sam Rollinson.

You might already recognise Sam - she also bagged the J Brand campaign, which we brought you earlier this week. She also posed for Burberry a couple of years back. Either way, get ready to see even more of her razor-sharp cheekbones this year as her profile gets bigger and bigger.

So here's some facts you may or may not know about Sam. She's a down to earth, Doncaster girl whose Instagram profile introduces her as ‘Hi, I'm a model. I thoroughly enjoy having a good old laugh and a cup of tea.’ Sounds like a girl after our own hearts, eh?

She is represented by Select Model Management in London, and when Grazia met her on the shoot for J Brand's Little Black Jeans a few months ago, she described her highlight from the recent show season as 'making loads of new friends'. Awww. 'What we love about Sam is that she has strength and femininity, with an attitude that makes everything look easy', said Donald Oliver of J Brand about his choice of model for the campaign.

So what else do we know about this new lady on the fashwan block? Well, earlier this year the model talked to the Telegraph about her most memorable fashion moment. 'Closing Balenciaga was really a big deal for me as it was my first show season. It was such an honour,' she said. We bet! And her secret hobby is baking. 'And I also like to cross stitch!' As for her favourite food it's 'probably lamb stew and apple crumble.' Sounds pretty cool to us. Ms Rollinson also indicated that fashion might not be her only career interest by adding, 'If I wasn't modelling, I would be at university, probably studying politics or philosophy.'

Clever and gorgeously cheekboney? Watch this space, people!
