Forbes estimate that the queen of pop earned £80 million ($125 million) between June 2012 and June 2013, thanks to her Material Girl clothing like, her fragrances and merchandise sales. Oh and she also invests in companies such as Vita Coco. According to Forbes' complicated number crunching this is the most Madge has ever earned.
Forbes reporter Dorothy Pomerantz said: 'Madonna's success, at age 55, just goes to show the incredible power of a successful music career.' Lady Gaga, who is often accused of being a mini Madonna came in at number 10 with $80 million in earnings, thanks to her Born This Way Ball world tour.
In second place was Steven Spielberg, thanks to box office hit Lincoln. The director earned an estimated £65 million ($100 million) between June 2011 and June 2012. In joint third place was author 50 Shades of Grey Author E.L. James, Howard Stern and Simon Cowell who earned £65 million ($95 million) each.
