Louis Vuitton's Checkerboard Twins Star In The Brand's Spring 2013 Campaign

12 December 2012 by

Sure, we’ve been left shivering in this winter chill, but always there to lift our spirits is fashion land where it's currently spring summer! Yes, the campaigns for the Spring Summer 2013 collections will be trickling in from this month onwards to bring us some heart-warming cheer. Kicking off the fash-packed action is Louis Vuitton where everything's sunshine yellow and jam packed with matching patterns...

The campaign, shot by superstar photographer Steven Meisel, used the same checkerboard backdrop created by artist Daniel Buren that we enjoyed at the show in Paris last October. Who could forget when the fash-pack were treated to a twin-tastic spectacular of graphic shapes and almost identical models walking the catwalk (and escalators) two-by-two? In fact, the collection inspired twinny action galore - remember we brought you Style Hunter’s street-snapped style partners? But don't worry, you've got another few months to perfect your identi-style before this cold snap ends.

The ‘60s styled, op-art inspired Louis Vuitton collection designed by artistic-collaboration-loving Marc Jacobs will land in stores next March, with Buren also turning his talents to designing the window displays for select Vuitton boutiques. Keep an eye out for the scrumptiously sunny campaigns dropping into magazines from the February issues.
