'I Think Journalism Is A Good Path For Me!' Lottie Moss On Her Fashion Ambitions In W Magazine

23 April 2014 by

Planet fashion is always asking 'who is the next Kate Moss?' Well it looks like her little sister Lottie is the safe answer to that question. The model was signed with Storm Management (the same agency that discovered Kate) back in January, and now she has been profiled by W Magazine.

Little Mossy doesn't look so little in her W editorial, as the 16 year old wears a body-skimming navy blue Stella McCartney dress with fringed detailing and a rib-grazing cut-out. Lottie has a history with Stella McCartney frocks, as her bridesmaids dress for Kate's wedding was also by Stels. As for the makeup, in typical Mossy style she sports 'I just rolled out of bed' waves. Well if they're good enough for Kate, eh?

In her shoot with Teen Vogue Lottie revealed that she has her eyes on fashion journalism. It looks like she's serious about her career in glossies as she told W Magazine: 'I honestly think about it more as a hobby. I want ?to stay in this industry, and I think journalism is quite a good path for me.' If you want to see the workings of a fashion mag Lottie, come on down to Grazia Towers.

Lottie isn't put off by the Kate Moss media circus as she said to W Magazine: 'I like the attention. I love the spotlight. I hope to model for as long as I can. We’ll see how it goes.' Modelling is in the genes after all, as she said to Teen Vogue: 'Well, it kind of runs in the family. Kate was a massive part of why I started.' She's already doing incredibly well for a new face, as she landed her first editorial, in Dazed & Confused and had a shoot in Teen Vogue.

So what are here credentials as a model? ‘Lottie looks beautiful and fresh — a very English rose look,' said the founder of Premier Models, Carol White. 'Her mother is quite right to wait until she is 14 and has developed more but she has wonderful features and could definitely make a model. Generally you need the height. Kate is the exception to the rule because models need to be 5ft 9in to 5ft 11in. I think Lottie would make a lovely young model.'
