London Fashion Week’s Top 10 Moments!

20 February 2013 by

With our feet back firmly under our desks, now is the time to look back at yet another stellar LFW season. From A-list FROWs, several Harry Styles spottings and the presence of RiRi AND VB, fashion week once again spoilt us. Indeed on Saturday evening we were in a total quandary – would we take up our spot at the Rihanna for River Island catwalk show, attend Thomas Tait’s runway OR join the trio of female fashion power – Diane Von Furstenberg, Donatella Versace & Victoria Beckham at the Woolmark Prize finale?  The answer of course was to pitch up at all three!

The other undoubted star of the week was Ms Delevingne, indeed it felt like we couldn’t pop to the loo without seeing Cara’s signature brows. Whether we were stalking her backstage at Mulberry or giving her a Black Score tee with her face emblazoned on it (said tee was soon spotted on her ‘wifey’ Rita Ora), our Cara-watch was relentless.

Obviously it was the clothes that took centre stage for your trusty band of fashion editors, and boy, did London’s designers serve up a host of fashion hotness. From Christopher Kane’s camo kilts and otherworldly tinsel dresses to Jonathan Saunders' whiplash sexy PVC corsets, we were blown away but our city’s fabled creativity. Then there were the parties. And the endless packs of Popchips. To get our full Top 10 LFW moments click through the gallery below!

PVC Power

PVC at Jonathan Saunders, Latex at Burberry and Vinyl at Roksanda Illincic - just three of the fans of kinky shine showcased at LFW. Ramp up the sex factor, ladies!

Harry Hour

So we partied with Harry Styles at Dominic Jones' party at The Box . And while his babyface in no way belies his youth, we are just as in love with the teenage Lothario as we ever were. Cute!

The House Of Grazia!

Our super chic tie up with Matches No.23 led to more highlights than we could count.' An intimate 'in converstion' with Jonathan Saunders? Why not? Manciures from noon to night? Ditto. We wish our office was always in Matches' Welbeck Street townhouse!

Christopher Kane's Tinsel Dress

Woolmark Wonder Women

Diane Von Furstenburg. Donatella Versace. Victoria Beckham. All under one roof. Need we say any more?

Giles' Blackadder Collection

Giving Queenie a serious stylish update, Giles' spin on Edmund's Elizabethan look was one of the most dramatic and delightful London Fashion Week moments.

Lady Ri Ri

Making her first foray into the world of fashion designer Rihanna presented her first ever collection for River Island to her adoring public. The clothes were great, but the lady herself was greater still. And yes she is that beautiful in real life.

Cara-Mania

THE hottest model in the world right now, Ms Delevingne was not only a stalwart of countless fashion shows, but she showed her face at pretty much every party in town. Kudos!

Meadham Madness

You either love or hate Meadham Kirchhoff's shows. This season's emotive, pared back and poignantly melancholic offering had us well and truly in the former camp.

Pop Chips

....we consumed approximately 5000 packets between us. Salt & Vinegar is the top flavour just FYI!
