When in London Lady Gaga becomes even more, well, Gaga. That Louis Vuitton feather headdress, the floral helmet and the leather Versace sci-fi suit were all London looks. The Mother Monster has been in London for the past six days and during her stay transformed herself into a Picasso painting, a Christmas tree and ... an iPad. As she is en route to Heathrow, we thought we'd fill the Gaga shaped hole, by giving you a week in the wardrobe of Lady Gaga...
Day One: Wednesday 4th
The Mother Monster brought the Louvre to the Langham Hotel, as she was spotted in an oversized hoodie by Dog Harajuku with Mona Lisa's face on it. Well she is promoting her album ArtPop...
Day Two: Thursday 5th
On Day Two Gaga wore a vintage Boy London leather jacket, covered in chains. She tweeted: 'LONDON MONSTERS, I’m gonna bring a leather outside that I want you to ARTPOP decorate. I’ll bring the paint pens. Now I can wear u home w me.' We are waiting to see the evidence of the monsters' scribbles...
Day Three: Friday 6th
Next up Gaga turned herself into a cubist masterpiece, wearing a Dog Harajuku jacket of Picasso’s Girl Before a Mirror painting. Her jacket may belong at the MoMA, but her wig is all Boy George. She channelled the singer with paintbox makeup and a black Culture Club hat. She then wore a hooded pink sequin Pam Hogg bodysuit with matching sequin legwarmers to an intimate performance at London member’s club Annabel’s.
Day Four: Saturday 7th
For Alan Carr: Chatty Man Gaga dressed up as an iPad. Seriously. She was a techy bride in a white frothy Kansai Yamamoto dress, with a bodice with a built in iPad. She's like a Teletubby in couture! Next up Gaga took inspiration from Edward Scissorhands in a black leather bondage dress, covered in fringing.
Day Five: Sunday 8th
Gaga out did herself on Sunday, wearing THREE headline-grabbing combos. To the Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball she wore a seafoam green custom Versace suit with nothing but a black lacey bra underneath. She had white Rasta dreads, wore a statement gold Versace necklace and tottered on stripper Pleaser boots. Earlier that day she stepped out in a kimono and colourful chaps by Dog Harajuku, with a lacey bra and I.D Sarrieri panties underneath, giving us a real eyeful. But her final outfit is the greatest gift, as she wore an actual Christmas tree covered in baubles on top of her wig.
Day Six: Monday 9th
On her way to the airport Mother Monster wore a Zeynep Tosun mustard high collard frock with embellished sleeves, with her trusty stripper Pleaser boots. As for the wig, she's gone for a rasta Rapunzel look, with cascading white dreads. London is already feeling drab without you Gaga. Come back soon!
