Who needs a publicist when you have a Twitter feed? Lady Gaga is a pro at self-promotion, from flaunting a tattoo of her latest album name to posing half-naked to launch a body revolution. So it comes as no surprise to see Mother Monster tantalising her gazillion followers with juicy details on her own tour wardrobe. 'THE BORN THIS WAY BALL is getting a face-lift for America,' she tweeted. 'I heard rumors @VERSACE IS CUSTOM DESIGNING ALL THE CLOTHES AND NEW LOOK.'
'Heard rumours' you say? Thanks for the heads up, Lady! The popstrel is currently on the South American leg of Born This Way Ball and the tour is due to hit North America on January 11th when she lands in Vancouver. So although we're a whole two months away from seeing said costumes, that hasn't stopped us from dreaming about the Donatella designs...
In the past, we've seen Gagaloo rocking a variety of Ver-saaach-aaayy numbers to give us a taster of what's to come. There's bound to be clevage-flashing and curve-enhancing creations a-plenty, as well as lashings of studded black leather and va-va-voom gowns covered in the Medusa motif.
But there's also been the more outlandish looks when Gaga developed a penchant for the Italian brand's vintage print explosions. Then came her music video for 'Edge of Glory' in which she wore solely Versace. What's more, Gaga has had the privilege of delving into the Versace archives - who could forget when she wore that famous safety pin dress which Elizabeth Hurley made famous in 1994?
So bascially, expect unapologetically blingy, bright and flashy gear topped off with multi-coloured wigs. Yes!
