It was only last month that 'On The Road' favourite Kirsten Dunst began to grace our Instagram feeds with her presence. Two weeks later, LA label Wren took to its Instagram account to hint at a collaboration with the star. Today, images have emerged of the actress-slash-model posing for the label's forthcoming Autumn Winter capsule collection. What's even more exciting? The look book was created with the help of Dunst's boyfriend-slash-photographer Garrett Hedlund, who took shots of the effortlessly cute Kirsten modelling beanies and nibbling on a cookie in his Los Angeles home. This is beyond cute.
Kirsten's long-time stylist Leith Clark teamed up with Wren designer Melissa Coker to design the capsule collection, but stepped back from her usual role for the shoot, instead allowing Kirsten to put the outfits together herself. "It was fun to flip roles and design the clothes and see how Kristen would wear them herself. It was a multi-faceted experience," Clark told Style.com.

The collaboration between the Wren designer and Clark came about after the creation of a number of short fashion films for the label, which featured the likes of Tavi Gevinson and Gia Coppola. “We were on set and I was looking at the clothes, saying, ‘What if you did it like this?’ or ‘Maybe this should be like that,’” recalled Clark. “Eventually she was like, ‘Why don’t you just design a collection?’”
Looking into her own wardrobe for inspiration, Clark created prints from the work of three of her favorite illustrators - Mercedes Helnwein, Fanny Bostrom, and Jenny Mörtsell - on T-shirts, and asked Coker to design a knit hat similar to one that a little girl is wearing in a painting hanging in her parents’ bathroom. Sounds so simple, right?
Then, she asked her close friend and client Kirsten Dunst to pose for the look book. Kirsten called on the services of her super-hot boyfriend et voila! What a happy family. We're all for the power couple, and it seems we may have a new, effortlessly cool and quirky one on our hands.
