Fashion BFFs? Kim and Olivier live it up in Paris [Instagram]
All eyes are on Kim Kardashian as rumours about her nupitals with Kanye West gain apace. So far, we've heard the couple have hired a 'royal wedding coach', they will be issuing guidelines to their guests on appropriate behaviour and Beyonce will be attending the hen do. Gracious! We also know that the Kimye Day will take place next month in Paris (despite a slight hoo-ha about the location) so it makes sense that the bride-to-be will opt for a Parisian designer when it comes to her dress. N'est pas?
To really stoke this fire, Kim has been all over Instagram sharing snaps of her enjoying the French capital with none other than Balmain designer, Olivier Rousteing. Kim and Olivier sealed their fashion friendship by taking selfies in front of an aquarium (calling for the hashtag #MermaidInParis, naturallement) and visiting the 17th-century Chateau de Louveciennes, which may well be a possible wedding venue now that plans to get hitched at the Palace of Versailles have been scuppered.

Kanye joined in the Parisian fun too, taking his baby mama to the Balmain store before the couple paid Lanvin's Alber Elbaz a visit. All the while, Kim was looking as majestic as ever trussed up in FROW-worthy Balmain numbers. She even found time to squeeze in a photoshoot based on queen of French fanciness, Marie Antoinette. Well, when in Paree...
As for Monsieur Rousteing, he's clearly enthused by his new pal. Move aside Rihanna - Olivier has filled his Instagram feed with pout-tastic snaps of Kim smooching his glitzy designs and captioning them with, 'FASHION ATTACK #FASHIONSELFIE #funnaymonday #haters VS #lovers #imlovinit'. So what could this all mean?
Well, bets are now on that Olivier will be designing The Wedding Dress. Or at least one of them. Rumour has it that Kim will wear not one, not two, but THREE gowns on her Big Day and has turned to Paris Fashion Week's finest - Riccardo Tisci of Givenchy and Kanye West Lanvin's Alber Elbaz - for suitably fabulous creations. So it makes sense that the King of Balmain would be in the mix too.

Question is: what would a Balmain wedding dress look like? We're envisioning pearl-encrusted satin, embroidery on the neckline and a waist-clinching, figure enhancing silhouette with just the right amount of flesh-flashing. Penelope Cruz wore a bride-appropriate Balmain gown to the Oscars in 2009, which was full-on frothy, and we loved Blake Lively's flirty off-the-shoulder frock.
Is Olivier working along the same lines? Has Kanye been chipping in his design advice? We'll be keeping our peepers on Instagram for more sneaky clues...
