Marc Jacobs with Cara Delevingne at Louis Vuitton's AW13 show
Cara Delevingne was the talk of the Louis Vuitton Autumn Winter 2013 show in February. The model of the moment hit the catwalk alongside Kate Moss and stomped through the hotel corridor set in a slinky pair of cami knickers with an oversized coat thrown over the top. After the show, she was spotted larking about with LV creative director Marc Jacobs before popping out for lunch with Mossy, as you do. But the appearance almost didn't happen, if it wasn't for Katie Grand.

In an interview with Style, Marc Jacobs’s right-hand woman reveals she was the one to champion the beautifully browed star. It all started at the luxury brand's Autumn Winter 2012 show a year before - remember the one when a real steam train pulled onto the catwalk in the middle of the Louvre? 'I was trying to get her in the show, but it was the show in which everyone was very tall and very long,' Katie says. Delevingne was dropped from the show.

But that didn't stop Katie's Cara obsession - oh no. In fact, the Editor-in-Chief of LOVE went onto cast the model in numerous shoots for the magazine, an array of hilariously cheeky videos as well as her Hogan campaign. 'I suppose it came about because I felt bad,' she says. By the Autumn Winter 2013 show, Jacobs was desperate for Delevingne to walk for Louis Vuitton. Yep, the power of Grand strikes again.
