Kate Moss Makes A Return To The Runway For Louis Vuitton At Paris Fashion Week

Supermodel Kate Moss made a return to the runway this morning as part of Louis Vuitton's Autumn Winter 2013 show at Paris Fashion Week. The mother of one, who is a close friend of LV's Creative Director Marc Jacobs hasn't been seen on the catwalk since 2011 when she closed the Louis Vuitton show both seasons, wearing a white featured dress in October and smoking a cigarette in black hot pants for the design house's March presentation.

Kate, who famously retired from runway life in 2004, clearly makes exceptions when it comes to tattooed designer Jacobs. The last time she walked in a catwalk show before Louis Vuitton in 2011 (aside from Naomi Campbell's Fashion For Relief charity tribute to Alexander McQueen in February 2010) she made a special appearance at The House Of Blue Eyes London Fashion Week presentation in Shepherd's Bush back in 2008.

When Grazia caught up with Kate backstage at Mulberry last season we asked her if she'd ever consider returning to the catwalk. The London-based model told us exclusively, 'Well, I did Louis Vuitton... I don’t think I'll do it again, but I don’t know... I mean, I never say never. It’s fun to do one occasionally. It’s not like I would want to do London-Milan-Paris like I used to, but it’s fun to do it occasionally.'

We wonder if Mossy's decision to go back to work has anything to do with a certain Miss Cara Delevingne who also appeared in the show. Hailed as 'the new Moss' the young star has quite a way to go to fill Kate's Louboutin boots, but we'd love to know if KM has any words of wisdom for CD about how to sustain at modelling career. After over two decades in the fashion industry under her belt, if anyone would know it would be Kate Moss!
