Hello? Is it Kate you're looking for?
Resplendent in a very sassy black dress from Prada’s autumn/winter 2013 collection (an off-the-shoulder number which arrived in style with it’s very own Marilyn Moment) a glowing Kate Moss launched her debut collection of mobile phone accessories yesterday with the Carphone Warehouse.
Mossy with Pixie Geldof and Nick Grimshaw
Over a very civilised lunch at the Ivy Club in London the supermodel presented her latest design adventure with pals Nick Grimshaw, Pixie Geldof and Sadie Frost in tow. While this new project may seem like an unlikely creative pairing, don’t forget, the Croydon girl-done-good is a seasoned design pro with four years of her ultra-successful Topshop line and a continued Longchamp collaboration under her belt. Her natural allure could sell almost anything, so if anyone can create a range of sexy and covetable phone accessories, Mossy can. And has.

So what is the Kate Moss Accessories Collection all about? Carphone Warehouse dub the sharp looking black and gold collection – which features luxe detailing like patent croc-skin or gold metal embellishment - as ‘fashion tech’. Kate says: “The range is a reflection of my personal style and every piece was inspired by something I already own and wear. After spending time designing each piece individually, I’ve loved seeing the range and my vision come to life”.
There were a few items in particular that provided initial inspiration: one of Kate’s vintage lighters, a diamond necklace from her jewellery box and an emblem tattoo on her wrist. Can you spot all of those in the chic range?
Prices start from £14.99. An exclusive preview sale of the collection will start for Carphone Warehouse Facebook fans on 24th July, as well as 10 select stores. Check out www.carphonewarehouse.com/KateMoss for more details.
