There are loads of things to be excited about in the count down to this year’s Red Nose Day. One Direction have recorded the charity single, Jessie J’s agreed to have her head shaved for a good cause and, as we revealed last week, Stella McCartney has leant her creative talent to design a an exclusive range of charity tees.
Each t-shirt was manufactured in Africa using 100 per cent Fairtrade-certified organic cotton and there are five quirky designs to choose from including The Beatles, Marilyn Monroe, Tommy Cooper, Kate Moss and a giraffe print for kids.
Not only does Stella's good pal La Moss feature on one of the charity tees, but the supermodel supremo also fronts the campaign alongside a whole host of famous faces including comedian David Walliams, Hollywood megastars Cameron Diaz and Liv Tyler, Brit actors Eddie Redmayne and Paul Bettany, fashion icon Alexa Chung, model David Gandy, cheeky singer Robbie Williams and UK rockers Kasabian.
While a who's who of the fashion and entertainment world stood in front of the camera for RND, behind the lens were supermodel and photographer Helena Christensen and Stella's sister and renowned snapper Mary McCartney.
The Red Nose Day t-shirts by Stella McCartney are available exclusively in TK Maxx stores and online starting at £5.99 (for a children’s tee) with at least £2.50 going to Comic Relief and £9.99 (for adults) with at least £5 going to Comic Relief to help people living incredibly tough lives across the UK and Africa.
