The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spent the weekend soaking up the snow and the sunshine of the Swiss Alps where they attended the wedding of Laura Bechtolsheimer and Mark Tomlinson. The groom is a long-term friend of Prince William and Prince Harry, who was also among the guests. The trio plays polo together and Tomlinson's parents are acquaintances of Prince Charles while Laura is a British dressage rider who competed in the Olympics. Following the church service wedding guests gathered for the reception hosted at a hotel owned by the bride’s grandfather, the billionaire Karl-Heinz Kipp, 88, who also owns a chain of German department stores.
Kate Middleton in Switzerland, March 2013 (left) and in Cambridge, November 2012 (right)
Our friends at What Kate Wore have revealed that Kate wore a mix of pieces that she's been spotted in before, aside from the wool mix coat, which is currently unidentified. The leopard print dress is by Max Mara Studio and the Duchess first wore it for an official visit to Cambridge in November last year with a similar pink coat over the top. Kate's brown hat is by Lock & Co’s and she previously stepped out in it when she attended the Shamrock Ceremony with the Irish Guard in March 2012. Finally she wore two accessories from Emmy Shoes including a pair of chocolate Valerie pumps and a matching Natasha bag.
