Kate Middleton Wears MaxMara Coat And Brown Aquatalia Boots For Cambridge Visit

28 November 2012 by

The Duchess of Cambridge travelled First Class from London's King's Cross this morning, where she and her husband William stayed overnight before an official visit to Cambridge. This is the first time that the royal couple have made the trip since the Queen conferred the Dukedom on them on their wedding day last year.

Kate wrapped up for the occasion in a pink MaxMara Studio 'Belli' belted wool coat and a MaxMara dress with a pair of brown suede Aquatalia ankle boots. The soft and simple look perfectly complements the DoC's 70s style Farrah Fawcett fringe which she debuted last night at the Natural History Museum. To stop the rain from interfering with her do Kate held an umbrella today as she departed in the London drizzle, but she received a warm welcome at Cambridge station from a crown which began to gather just after 5am this morning.

The royal couple are scheduled to take a walk through the streets of the City before being greeted by the Chancellor of The University of Cambridge.
