Yesterday the Duchess of Cambridge stepped out in a new coat courtesy of Gloucestershire-based brand Moloh, but for the second part of a two-day visit to Scotland the pregnant princess has opted for an old favourite from Armani. We last saw Kate wearing this red angora outerwear back in 2006 when she attended her then boyfriend William's passing out ceremony at Sandhurst. The cocoon shape of the classic coat makes it easily adaptable as a maternity piece for the Duchess, who has revealed that her due date is mid-July, to re-wear. Underneath Kate kept things simple with a black dress and she completed the look with her Aquatalia 'Rhumba' Boots and Green Amethyst and Diamond Drop earrings, by London jeweller Kiki McDonough.
On her second day in Scotland the Duchess visited Dumfries House in Ayrshire with her husband William and father-in-law Prince Charles, where the next in line to the throne is opening the Tamar Manoukian Outdoor Centre, which will provide accommodation for 52 young people and six adults. This afternoon the royals will head to Cumbria where they'll learn about nuclear powered submarines.
The trio was greeted by well-wishers when they arrived this morning, including 11-year-old Dayna Miller who showed Kate the "Princess Catherine" doll she got for Christmas. The youngster said "Kate looked at it and said 'No! Oh no, is that me? Is that meant to be me? Does my hair look like that?'. Can you see the resemblance?
