The Duchess of Cambridge in Orla Kiely [Rex]
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived at the offices of Only Connect, the crime prevention charity, in London this morning to meet with staff and young people. Fittingly Kate stepped out in autumnal hues, which perfectly complemented the fallen leaves on the pavement beneath her brown suede boots. The fit-and-flare coat dress by Orla Kiely is of course the very same that she wore to the Art Room in Oxford back in February 2012.
The website for the Irish designer described the item as a wool long sleeve shirt dress in Birdie jacquard fabric with buttons at the front, deep pleats in the skirt and pockets in the side seams. Kate's elegant walnut-coloured creation is covered in a dove print. The Duchess accessorised the look with her suede Aquatalia ankle boots - the very same that she wore in Oxford and when visiting a Royal National Lifeboat Institution lifeboat station in Anglesey in February 2011 - and a simple chocolate brown clutch.

The royal couple opted to leave Prince George at home with babysitters as they attended the event to support the rehabilitation of young offenders. This will be only one of a few pre-Christmas public engagements for the Duchess over the next month as she prepares to celebrate her son's first Christmas.
