The Duchess of Cambridge has made her first solo public outing today since giving birth to Prince George in July. The new mum arrived at an athlete workshop at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic park in London this morning to meet budding sport stars and their parents who are taking part in an educational event hosted by her charity SportsAid. Kate is no stranger to the Olympic Park having cheered on the British team from the venue during the 2012 games.

Although Kate declined to play Badminton she did show off her volleyball skills - and her midriff in the process. As she lifted her arms to hit the ball over the net, her sweater rode up her waist revealing an extremely flat tum.
Since leaving the hospital three months ago with baby in arms Kate has made two official appearances, both times with her husband Prince William by her side. She dazzled in a Jenny Packham dress last month at the Tusk Trust Awards in London and adopted country casuals including Paige Denim Skyline Ankle Peg jeans and a green blazer (we suspect Ralph Lauren) for the Ring O’ Fire Coastal Ultra Marathon in Anglesey back in August.

As for today's ensemble, the Duchess is wearing her Smythe one button blazer, a Ralph Lauren sweater, J Brand navy twill jeans and Stuart Weitzman for Russell and Bromley Corkswoon wedges for the occasion. But what's this, it looks like she's worn a very similar outfit before (only the top is different), during the Olympics in fact when she attended an equestrian event in Greenwich Park. Clearly this preppy look is a favourite with Kate the wardrobe recycler.
