While we're spending the day scoffing chocolate, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's Easter Sunday is packed with a line-up of royal duties - and their first stop today was St. Andrews Cathedral.
It comes as no surprise to see Kate wearing an ensemble from Alexander McQueen, her trusted go-to for style armoury. The esteemed British fashion house, which is under the leadership of designer Sarah Burton, has served her well on many formal occasions, including the christening of Prince George, the Jubilee boat pageant and the Military Awards. Oh, and her wedding day.
Today's outfit is certainly perfect for a princess, featuring a tailored coat over a matching dress in a dove grey shade that was custom-made for the occasion. The funnel neck and concealed front fastening add an extra touch of elegance while those structured shoulders and cropped sleeves are super-flattering.

As she often does for a church service, the Duchess wore her hair half-up in a gorgeously twisty style. It makes room for her dainty fascinator created by Jane Taylor Millinery. Her clutch is also by McQueen while her heels are by LK Bennett.
Considering she's been such a pro at literal dressing this tour, we'd hoped for a splash of Easter yellow from K-Middy this morning, but instead she's opted for a more reserved outfit that nonetheless honours the formal occasion. Besides, the royal couple are now headed to Taronga Zoo so cross those fingers she'll spruce things up...
