As we reported yesterday, the king of fashion has been cloned! Considering Karl Lagerfeld is an ultra-busy, top-notch designer, he's enlisted a plastic 26cm high doll to do a spot of sightseeing for him. Step forward Tokidoki Karl created by the Japanese-inspired lifestyle brand launched by Italian designer Simone Legno.
Monsieur Lagerfeld’s latest incarnation has been whizzing round the world on a global tour and Grazia has been treated to the exclusive holiday snaps in celebration of the new Tokidoki x Karl collection, which lands this week. Tokidoki Karl has been palling up with some Russian dolls in Moscow, surfing rad waves in Sydney and even getting involved in a morning conference at Grazia HQ!
The pictures kick off a worldwide celebration of the designer’s latest guise; four different versions of the cartoon-style figure will be available on Net-A-Porter.com this week and we reckon they'll become modern collectables within minutes.
You can join in on the fun too! Simply snap your scene and share your location on Instagram and hashtag #KarlYourWorld @netaporter and @grazia_live and Toki will magically appear in your chosen location! Pick up the new issue of Grazia out today for more from Tokidoki Karl.
