Justin Trousersnake, opps, apologies, Justin Timberlake has just cemented his style prowess by covering GQ US for the fifth time. His number of covers is second only to Tom Cruise, who has graced the front of GQ US a casual seven times. So it seems like the perfect opportunity to do a bit of JT research, trust me, it was so a tough task, trawling through all those visually stunning images.
The suit and tie singer, aptly loves to dress to the nines, especially if it’s of a monochrome variety. Throughout his 20/20 Album campaign JT has look nothing less than sauve in suit after suit, yet he always manages to add a bit of JT magic to a somewhat go-to dressing formula. For instance at the Cannes film festival, Justin added a small floral broach to his grey suit for the photo call and his red carpet look. It’s the subtle details like this which set JT apart from the rest of the pack, whether it’s a broach, jazzy tie or an injection of a checked shirt, he shows a very keen eye for detail. The accessorising doesn't stop there, oh no, he loves to don a hat to mix up the monochrome magic.

Indeed it’s hard to imagine this is the very same gentleman who strutted down the red carpet with Britney Spears all those years ago in co-ordinated denim ensembles. Now those unruly curls have been scraped into a super sleek quiff which conjures up a touch of Frank Sinatra and the street wear which littered his early videos have been replaced by sharp Tom Ford suits. This is a boy gone good in the style spotlight.
We can’t help but think though, despite this being the height of his fashion prowess, his finest stage was Friends With Benefits, need we say any more….
