Oh, Johnny Depp and Kate Moss. Kate Moss and Johnny Depp. Was there ever a more perfect pair? Okay, so Mossy is now a happily married lady and Johnny is shacked up with super-hottie Amber Heard, but the most cheekboney couple of the '90s will always hold a special place in our heart.
So we couldn't help but get a litle excited at the news that Kate and Johnny have reunited. Yes! But in an entirely professional, non-champagne-bath style, of course. And it's all thanks to Sir Paul McCartney who managed to get the pair together for his new music video. What with Macca being a musical legend and all, the former couple couldn't say no to his request to appear in the video for new single 'Queenie's Eye'.
According to The Mirror, Kate and Johnny, who were together for four years from 1994, felt that although there are still 'raw emotions' between them, they couldn't possibly pass on the offer. 'They really try to avoid one another in public because there have been raw emotions in the past - but neither could say no to Macca,' a source told the newspaper. 'They only have little roles, but it's the first time they're appearing on screen together since the split.'
As for Sir Paul, he's understandably chuffed with the coup. 'They are friends of mine and [my daughter] Stella's. I am very lucky they agreed to do it,' he said. And to avoid it being TOO awks, a bunch of other stars attended the shoot at Abbey Road Studios. 'There were a whole host of celebrities taking part. It was a really mixed bunch,' the source added. 'Meryl Streep and Gary Barlow were in the studio, and there was an audience on set. But the big talking point was Kate and Johnny.' Obvs. Here's hoping Macca got them to renact this.
