Jeremy Scott's Swapping Milan For London To Show His First Moschino Men's Collection

Jeremy Scott's seriously mixing things up at Moschino! The new creative director is planning to show his first menswear collection for the label in London rather than in Milan this season.

The label's due to present its Spring Summer 2015 range as part of London Collections Men at 6pm on June 16. While both Moschino’s own Cheap & Chic line and Jeremy's namesake collection have shown in London before, this will be the first time a mainline Moschino collection has shown outside of Italy.

The move's all down to Jeremy's passion for London's 'vibe and international crowd'. A spokesperson says the decision was 'instinctive, for fun, and inspirational' and that the collection might show in even more cities in coming seasons -  possibly returning to Milan or a potentially moving to other locations.

Moschino's Autumn Winter 2014 women's collection

The move is the latest change-up at the brand courtesy of Jeremy. The designer has given the label a youthful, quirky makeover since joining last year. He impressed in February with an Autumn Winter 2014 women's collection that played on pop culture and the Moschino heritage. Plus the designer's been working with the likes of the likes of Rihanna, Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus and hanging out with star pals at Coachella.

As well as what's sure to be a fun menswear line, the designer will also present around 15 pieces of Moschino’s women’s pre-collection on the catwalk at LCM. But don't take this as a sign that the women's line might be heading to London soon too though. Moschino say the collection is 'well-rooted in Milan' so won't be leaving the city anytime soon.
