Jennifer Lopez Channels THAT Grammy Dress At World Cup Opening Ceremony In Brazil

13 June 2014 by

Jennifer Lopez turned the World Cup opening ceremony into a party last night, taking to the stage with Pitbull and singer Claudia Leitte to perform this year's official FIFA song 'We Are One (Ole Ola)'.

'Abrigado Brasil!!!' Jen wrote on Instagram after the event. 'Thank you Brazil for having me! I love you! TE AMO BRASIL! #worldcup2014 #weareone.'

While Pitbull wore a rather tight pair of white trousers and a Brazil shirt for the performance, J.Lo decided to bring maximum glamour in a sparkling green leotard. The outfit had sparkle, cut-out panels, tassels and beaded sections. It looked like a Vegas version of Jen's infamous Versace dress from the 2000 Grammys.

Jen's been giving a nod to the legendary look with many of her wardrobe choices recently, sporting a green jumpsuit for music video 'Papi' and donning a leaf-print leotard for performances on her tour.

She teamed her latest look with embellished tights and Christian Louboutin mesh boots. Beauty wise - she opted for bronze smokey eyes and big BIG hair.

Jen took to Instagram earlier this week to ask fans to decide what she wore for the performance. Posting a video on the site, she revealed three options - a shimmering peach catsuit, a teensy silver mini dress or the green one-piece.

'#whatshouldjlowear4theworldcup #jlovers I'm trying to decide what to wear today for the World Cup?' she captioned the video. '##jlogreenwc #jlosilverwc or #jlocatsuitwc ??? Let me know!!! Hope u watch! #worldcup2014'
