This week has been all about one lady - of course we're talking about Jennifer Lawrence. The actress was back on the red carpet again last night, at the Hunger Games premiere at the Rome Film Festival. J Law wore a cream strapless Christian Dior Fall Couture 2013 gown with a cross over detail on the bodice and a dramatic high-low hem. She gave the Something About Mary hair a miss for the night, with her hair swept back and gold two-strap heels. The Dior gown is a toned down version of her Oscars show-stopper which was also a Dior cream gown, with a form-fitting strapless bodice and a full skirt.
Is this Jennifer Lawrence's best look of the week? Well let's have a quick recap. Over the past 5 days Jennifer has completed the European leg of her Hunger Games promotional tour, attending premieres in Madrid, Berlin, London and Rome. It all started with the world premiere in London where she wore a white Christian Dior dress (obvs) with an elaborate sequin panel, with a traffic-stopping red coat worn over the top.
Next up was Berlin, where she wore a divine Christian Dior double breasted white coat with pale pink and icy blue sections on the full skirt, paired with nude Stuart Weitzman heels. Then in Madrid she wore a Spring Summer 2014 Christian Dior navy gown with a strapless bodice, an asymmetrical skirt and a sheer navy overlay sweeping to the floor. But it's not been all Dior, as she also showed she's a strong fashion force wearing Spring Summer 2014 Proenza Schouler and Alexander McQueen frocks to photocalls.
So far Jen has managed to stay balanced on those stilettos, as there have been no high profile tumbles. At the Hunger Games press conference she said: 'I was just at my brothers' wedding and there were stairs and I was like I can’t fall anymore. I just CAN'T! I don’t have plans to avoid any future falls. I'm just going to use sheer willpower and focus.' She joked that she might have to attend a high heel bootcamp. Well whatever she's doing, it's working.
