Jennifer Lawrence Wears J.Crew To Be A Bridesmaid At Her Brother's Wedding

We're pretty certain J.Crew is about to become the go-to store for bridesmaids' dresses this year. Why? Well, we've just seen this snap of Jennifer Lawrence sporting a gown by the brand to her brother's wedding - and she looks *totally* beautiful.

J-Law was one of 11 bridesmaids at the wedding of sibling Blaine and sister in-law Carson Massler. Held in the Lawrence family's hometown of Kentucky, the event was shot for Martha Stewart’s Real Weddings magazine.

With 325 guests in attendance, the wedding was held outdoors at a horse farm on a very rainy day (oops).  Blaine, a summer camp director, wore cowboy boots for the event. 'We wanted a place that represented Kentucky,' he said.

The cover image shows the happy couple surrounded by their bridesmaids - including J-Law. The bride's sporting white lace number while the rest of the ladies are wearing three different versions of a peachy chiffon J.Crew gown. There's a traditional shape, a one-shoulder cut and J-Law's preference the 'J.Crew Arabelle long dress', which costs £365.

Carson told the magazine she picked the colour because she wanted the attention to be on her friends rather than the dresses they were wearing. She said: 'We kept the day’s colors as understated as possible because we wanted the natural beauty of the land to stand out.'

J-Law grinning wildly in the picture. Her cropped hair is tousled and she's sporting slight smokey eye and nude lipstick. It looks like she's having the best time ever.

Here are 10 style lessons we learned from star bridesmaids. Dont forget to check out our wedding channel.

GALLERY >> Bridesmaid Dress Dos And Don'ts

Jessica Alba

DON’T dismiss bright colours in your bridesmaids’ bouquets. It’s often easier to play with colour in theirs than yours, as Jessica Alba’s pinks and oranges prove…

Pippa Middleton

DON’T upstage the bride in your dress. Hello – Pippa and that bum…

Keira Knightley

DO opt for a shape that’s similar to and complements the bride’s dress. Kiera’s 50’s-style  plum number proves it can look very chic…

Kirsten Dunst

DO consider a floral headband. It can work. If you're Kirsten Dunst.

Jessica Biel

DO think about a cover-up in case, like Jessica Biel, your bridesmaids get a bit chilly…

Naomi Watts

DON’T dismiss white. If it’s short like Naomi Watts it won’t compete with the bride…

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen

DO opt for floaty maxi dresses if, like Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s friend, you’re having a boho beach wedding. Shoes optional.

Kim Kardashian

DO think about your bridesmaids’ individual bodies. Kim K totally pulls off this fishtail design but it wouldn’t work on other shapes. (Mind you, not sure I’d want to walk down the aisle with a bridesmaid that looked as sexy as this)

Jessica Simpson

DON’T dismiss black as an option. As Jessica Simpson shows with the right flowers – think red, gold or silver – a black bridesmaid’s dress can work really well.

Miquita Oliver

DO make sure you’re wearing the right underwear. Especially with flesh-coloured gowns like Miquita Oliver at Lily Allen’s wedding.
