This Is What Jennifer Lawrence Should Wear On Her 'American Hustle' Promo Tour

Jennifer Lawrence has been gracing red carpets in literally every country during The Hunger Games: Catching Fire promotional tour. Now just as one film leaves cinemas Jennifer has another to promote, the '70s gangster flick American Hustle where she reprises her chemistry with fellow Silver Linings Playbook star and demi-god Bradley Cooper. Our tickets are already booked, natch.

Whilst her promotional wardrobe was awash with delightful Dior gowns for The Hunger Games, as she starts to promote her new movie there seems to be a change up in the dressing direction. At the New York press conference gone were the dresses and an altogether more modern mode appears with her donning a Marc by Marc Jacobs white crop top and teamed it with some peg leg trousers.

Modern Magic (From Right): Jil Sander, Victoria Beckham, Richard Nicoll and Erdem (Catwalking)

This isn’t the first time Jennifer has dared to bare. When hopping from country to country last month J-Law wore a number of sheer Dior delights with cut out panels joining the sartorial soiree but the most recent outfits show her eye is now favouring a cleaner, modernist line. This month for Late Night with David Letterman she wore a J Mendel crop top and skirt combo, and for another American TV appearance the next day Jennifer appeared in a sleek winter white Thakoon dress.

Perhaps this all started with THAT haircut, which is now got a serious life of its own. With a cut of the Barnett came a cut of the fabric, and the pixie cut with its tantalising texutre is the perfect accessory to the newly found fashion formula.

Snip At The Waist (From Right): Alexander Wang, Lucas Nascimento, Osman, Antonio Berardi and Dior (Catwalking)

The question is what will Jennifer be wearing next as she embarks on yet another mammoth publicity tour? Well we hope to see a whole host of crop top combo fashion platters and perhaps see her tapping into her youth by wearing altogether younger brands, like Richard Nicoll and Alexander Wang. Jennifer if you are reading this, here is what we want to see you wearing next…
