Jennifer Aniston On Her 'Basic' Style: She Likes To Wear T-shirts That Look Like Dresses On The Red Carpet

We get it: Jennifer Aniston is a no-fuss kinda gal. The actress is gracing the cover of US Glamour this month, giving her the chance to divulge on her fashion formula and it's even more simplistic than we'd thought. The interview is brilliantly conducted by Jason Sudeikis, Jen's We Are the Millers costar, and the pair talk everything from Justin Theroux's paternal instincts to strippers (who knew Jason and wife-to-be Olivia Wilde are strip club fans?). But, naturally, it's the style talk that caught our eye.

'I’m pretty basic,' the actress says of her wardrobe. 'I pretty much have my uniform. A boyfriend jean, a wedge, a tank top. At night, I change the tank top to black and add some chains.' The star also dishes on her red carpet attire, reiterating that it 'has to be comfortable'. So much so, in fact, that she tries 'to get some form of a T-shirt that looks like a gown. Like a longer tank top. A tank top, but with glitter on it.' You've got to applaud that sartorial commitment, right?

Of course, her confession comes as no surprise - Aniston is a junkie for LBDs. She occasionally mixes up the look with (GASP) a halter neck rather than a strapless design and has occasionally been known to opt for a plunger, but all in all, she has found a tried and tested recipe and darn well sticks to it!

But, let's be honest, same-style-overkill can become predictable. We'd all love to see Jennifer venturing out of her style box from time to time and with the We Are the Millers promo tour about to kick off, there is hope she may mix it up a notch. The actress is due to hit the red carpet for the film's premiere in New York tonight and considering her last major public outing was at the Oscars, when she wore that dramatic Valentino gown in RED, we're crossing our fingers she might opt for a dash of colour. Maybe her upcoming wedding have her in the mood for a spot of pretty lace or feminine florals, as well as lashings of glitter, obvs. Over to you, Jen.

While we wait, check out Jennifer's style evolution in the gallery below...
